Most of my scars were acquired between 1973 and 1977. Coincidentally the years I was in the Marines. I did get a few afterwords, but most of those were work related.
We lost power for several hours overnight, and just got internet back a couple of hours ago. So far, YUUUUGE drifts separated by great expanses of bare ground. Weird ass Texas weather.
If you like scars, you'd love me. Unfortunately, a bunch of them are on my face. I've reached the point where I scare children and young ladies unintentionally.
seems like I am accumulating too many from the unromantic hands of surgeons......less from the glories of battle, and more from the ravages of old age....

Pretty much my reply when people ask me why I have no tattoos - they would just cover up the scars I got legitimately.

I dated a gal from Laos back in the early 80s, she had scars everywhere. I called her scrap metal. She was awesome.
