Cats adopt you, or they don't. Their choice. The feral that adopted me brings me all kinds of interesting critters. Sometimes whole, sometimes not so. I usually step on them on the way out the door. She loves me, yup.
We still get a half eaten gift of baby rabbit and mole daily... Our cats hate the winter and stay in all winter looking out in despair... But as soon as the ground is not frozen anymore they are out hunting...
And yes if there is anything ogin on and kids are at play, the kitties go right in the middle of everything and wanna nap... and when you do remove them they will come back, until they get stepped on...
wb, you do realize I'm Angel and not MissK? My French is pedestrian at best. I had a cat growing up. Working at my desk on homework, Rocky would hop up and lay down right in the middle of it. I'd try to move him and he'd growl at me.
We have been adopted by a feral cat the local little girls fed and tamed somewhat, she's to old to hunt effectively, so now my munchkin demands that we feed her. She still make a kill once in a while but mostly she just sleeps on my back deck, and eats kitty kibble. I think I need a kennel for the winter nights this year, can't let the old thing freeze.---Ray

Charlie used to bring me wabbits. Sometimes just parts of wabbits, so I know what you're saying, rpm.

That kitty will have a nervous twitch for the rest of its life...and see lizards in his nightmares. ;)

That kitty will remember to watch it's flank from now on, right K?
