In the Top 10

Reasons to homeschool:

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/09/23/suspended-student-may-be-expelled-for-rest-of-the-year-for-playing-with-toy-gunin-his-own-yard/

How far is the state's reach? How about your property? Your yard? Your home?

Virginia City, VA student may be expelled for the rest of the year for playing with a toy gun. Before school. Before entering the bus. While standing in his own yard. How much of this shit is going on that we don't hear about? How much of this is just being quietly tolerated by sheeple raised to believe the schools know best? The government knows best? Sheesh, people, we've got some decisions to make. When do we stop trying to awaken the masses and start fighting back?

If you are thinking about homeschooling but don't know where to start, just send me a quick note. There are quite a few Patriots on these blogs who are doing it and can give some good tips. I'm home all day, I can research rules and options for your particular state. I will do anything possible to help you get started.

I was homeschooled for most of my k-12 career. There are advantages and disadvantages. I am of the opinion that the advantages(overall better education, children who are actually YOURS instead of being corrupted by some Leftist teacher, absolute control over what they learn) vastly outweigh the disadvantages, which themselves can be mitigated quite completely.

Currently homeschooling five, ages 6 to 17. They outperform their peers on standardized tests, are actually willing and able to engage in intelligent conversation with adults(not just their peer group), and know how to work hard. They laugh and sing a lot. It has been a tremendous amount of work so far, but running six children (also have a two-year old) back and forth to public school and interacting properly with public school would likely require almost as much effort. This is important. If you are on the fence about homeschooling, it is worth it. Find a way to make it happen.

in another va city a parent got arrested for mearly asking to discuss the new common core "programming". charges were later dropped, but the message had been sent, no dissent allowed. gov candidate cuccinelli wants to give parents options to use vouchers to send kids to whatever school they want. nea is all over him with nea paid ads. if i had kids they would be homeschooled. 13,000.00 per student and they can't tell you who george washington was.
