It's the one that straightens

This reminds me so much of Poppy. When my grandma Evelyn died, my mom called him to pack up her black suit, black pumps and straight iron and bring them before the funeral. He called me in a cold panic, "I have the suit. Your mom has 24 pairs of black shoes and what in blue blazes is a straight iron?!" I adore Poppy.

Straight Iron? Why was she going golfing?

I see two straighteners, two curlers, and two hairdryers. I am male, straight, never had a girlfriend, and my personal hair care starts at "shampoo" and ends at "conditioner."

How could you confuse the hairdryer for a straightener, anyway?

I believe you said you have sisters, Volfram, you learned by osmosis.

Nature, in her mercy, has allowed me to forget all thus.

Only one sister, but one of my brothers had a straightener.

He went through an emo-hair phase. We teased him about it.

Our 14 year old has her own bathroom so this situation does not come up in our house. My ever-lovin' wife and I schedule around this situation.

Volfram: conditioner?

It was a step up from using body-soap in place of shampoo.

I had a lesbian ask to touch my hair once.
