I would be on my knees with a knife, digging that bastard out of there.

I have a coworker who I've joked to that her husband could probably kill her by simply hiding one particular sock that she was sure was where it should be.
Heh, I had the body shell of my MG restored years back. I had bought the last new quarter panel in the US... They put it on slightly crooked, like maybe 1/16 of an inch wrong... The car looked good, paint was beautiful, but all I could see ,every time I walked up to the car was the "gross" misalignment...I had to sell the car.
Took me a few minutes to see a problem... not sure what that says about me. The Mrs. on the other hand - less than five seconds to see it, and less than two seconds to ask me where the masonry drill was....
@ JesseDC - Only 1/16th" out of alignment on an MG? You got one of the good ones!
It was a BGT and must have been made the day after they got a raise...The gap at the door and the hatch were screwed after the repair. Good one?? You bet, I put the second hundred thousand on it...

White out, black marker, clear nail polish. Problem solved.

Heh, spill some gravy on it and walk away.
Crooked pictures do it for me. Do you know how many people have crooked pictures on their walls, or their Blog?

And to think, that stuff comes from a factory in sheets.
