It's good to have an occasional encounter with the police so you can gauge how your local officers are compared to the national trends.
After reading about a lot of poor behavior around the country, I was ready to start treating the police around here the same way Democrats want to treat gun owners. A couple of encounters, however, have suggested to me that the police in Colorado Springs are actually very reasonable and keep the 4th and 5th amendments well in mind.
Granted, I haven't had a recent encounter where I was carrying a gun... that might change the dynamic.
Looks like a great read, but honestly, I don't need a book to tell me what's happening in this country, and it didn't just start with Obama. This has been going on for years, our government has just gotten to the point that it's no longer bothering to hide what it's doing.
I made my peace with death years ago, when he comes around again I'll happily greet him. The only thing I pray for is that I have time to get my wife out of the way.

I have always wondered...Why do they ride on the sides of that thing like GI Joe? Kinda defeats the idea of an armored vehicle no?
