Hard lessons

Teach your kids true history.
Don't let them learn hard lessons first hand.
The expressions, or lack thereof,
say everything you need to know.

The lesson from that picture is to not let Uwe Boll make movies. That is a clip from a propaganda piece made in 2010. It is "politically correct" history.

I'm not sure what Anonymous means by his comment above. If the photo represents "politically correct" history, politically correct history being history through the eyes of a revisionist, then why are the Germans to this day still ashamed of what they did back in the 1930's and 1940's?

In most, if not all cases today "they" are only descended from those who did these things. Yet are as ashamed as "we" are for electing this administrations leaders.

No real German would do what is depicted. Getting blood out of wool is very difficult.

Not disputing that the Nazis were certainly capable of doing something this heinous. Just stating that I don't think this is an actual picture of it. The photographer is mighty close to the path of the bullet, if so. All that having been said, the commentary associated with the post is right on target.

While this photo is staged, and recent.... The FACT that women and children were stripped naked, gunned down (murdered) their bodies left to rot in the sun by the Nazi machine is indisputable!

While I don't dispute that people should be armed, I believe this is a bad example. Germany actually relaxed their gun laws under the Nazis, so that more "good" people had guns. The Nazis had it pretty well figured out, and we would do well to learn from them, we just need to be careful to use the right lessons.

(Also greetings from Bayou Renaissance Man's blog, I followed his link to your blog and have been browsing since... Hey, isn't this post from 2014? Whoops, guess you're fun!)
