Spoke with a guy who survived Joplin. He lived in a slab house with no storm shelter, and was in a wheel chair. He sheltered in the bathroom which was the most central room in the house. He was lifted up three or four times then dropped back into the room. That bathroom was the only part of the house still there. There were steel rafters from the shopping center down the road wrapped around the the trees in the yard, and one was punched through his house and was on top of what was left in his kitchen.
Who would think a little wind could do that much damage. Speaking of damaging winds, some one needs to tell obambi to shut up.

houses with roofs that are detachable like that do not give me faith in their construction.
