The subway trains run in both directions, one lot clockwise and the other lot counter cw.So unless you have a schedule just get on any train and get off at your destination at any time. Students in Glasgow (there are about 67 thousand of them in Glasgow) often indulge in what is called a Sub-Crawl where they travel between each of the 15 stations go to the nearest pub (there are plenty to choose from) and have a single pint and move on. In Britain people can legally drink when they reach their 18th birthday.
Glasgow is a very nice city.
