Ain't it the truth?

I think the only one that really hit me hard was Glenn Frey.
He was my "sexual awakening";
the first time my pink bulbous parts started tingling in response to a boy.
And oh boy!
I wanted to wade barefoot and nekkid through that hair.

This is my wake up call. I'm older, down-side of 50.
Carrie Fisher was just 10 years older than me.
I've got a lot of living to catch up on, huh?

The Princess died one day after my 58th birthday. Most of the people that I know who did a lot of Blow or speed back in the 70's-80's have dropped dead of heart attacks. In fact almost all of the serious blow monkeys are dead and died before turning 50. Too many of my friends from the 70's have been dead for longer than they were alive.---Ray. Shikata ga ni but it makes one think.

Lemmy died 12-28-15. The perfect example of why you should not judge a book by its cover. Not many men live a life as free as Lemmy did.

US politics? Fidel Castro?

Life is too short, do it now.

US politics did not die in 2016, but the person who won the presidential election that year was not owned by the corporate cartel (Time & many other US corporations, think the military-industrial complex) this time.

This is the first time a non cartel owned person is sitting in the White House since 1963.

Carrie Fisher did herself in. Cocaine, LSD and God hisself knows what else, possibly several facelifts/boobie-uppies. All that takes a massive toll on the body (surgery is NEVER harmless), and while the whole focus of the press going forward will be: "Horrors!!! Heart Attacks Are a Huge Danger to Younger Women!!!! (Take your statins...)", it is largely BS. She killed herself with her evil ways.

We all gotta decide how much evil we want in our 'ways' and try to at least be somewhat in control - most of the time. You sound like you hold things together pretty well - given all that goes on in your life, you should be given a medal for Mental Heroism!!

Long may you continue...

Blessings

Well, aside from the pain that periodically shoots down my left arm like fire from my ear to my fingertips, I do okay. Thanks, Cap'n Jan, for the well wishes!

Now you can add Debbie Reynolds to your list.
