This is so true. The Pot Luck Supper is a staple of Presbyterianism.
If you want to build lasting relationships it's over dinner.

Got violently ill at a potluck - undercooked chicken.

4 children and me.

Wife and son OK, they passed on the chicken dish.

Never done a potluck since.

being a veteran of more "covered dish suppers" than I possibly could count, i have never seen a more fitting "totem"....
