The scarier comparison is this, in 1964 3 silver quarters bought you that bacon, today 3 silver quarters are worth 5.23 x 3= 15.69. The US government has had a cheap food policy for years. Along with killing the dollar the "cheap" food is going to come to an end. Buckle up. Also look at it this way. 5 rounds of .223 will buy you that bacon.
