Yep, perfect for guns and gear. And when you depress a little foot pedal, each section of shelving opens up to reveal even more armory awesomeness behind them...
The shoes are probably better kept in a larger closet elsewhere in the mansion. You know, with the corsets and other fun stuff.
Thank you Adrienne, I'll consider that my mental health pass for owning weapons. :-)
Paladin, I also envision an indoor range and hidden escape tunnel. "You know, with the corsets and other fun stuff." ~blush~ Who told you about the other fun stuff?!
In support of #1 & #2 above, and Stop Apologizing!!! for your pro-2A views. If your friend wants to fill the the space with glitter & frippery, fine - she has that right. YOU have the right (long lost to us in the UK, and yes I am envious) to stock up on useful amounts of brass, copper, lead & steel. If your friend cannot handle that, I will happily trade passports & citizenship with her - and more fool her. Sorry if this sounds like a rant but some attitudes really push my buttons, especially when expressed by free CITIZENS who have no idea what being a SUBJECT who is GRANTED CITIZENSHIP by the grace & favour of a RULER really means in term of individual rights. Take deep breath, think of happy place......... Best wishes, Bryn, Isle of Anglesey, UK.
Thank you Bryn. That actually made me smile. I love T to death, but she's a girly girl who thinks her prince will come save her. I have long ago given up on my Prince showing up and learned to take care of myself. She's exercising her right to be a very stylish victim, I'm exercising my right to kick ass in sneakers.
You wouldn't get mad at me if I walked thru there to wash up after I got done working on one of these damn truck's out here would ya ?. I carry a grease rag in my pocket, hell I'll wipe up.

Something is seriously wrong with anyone who thinks that's a good use of space. Gun cubbies make more sense.
