Creativity at work
I almost always take the stairs. One, the cute chicks get freaked out by things that move (escalators, elevators, moving sidewalks); and two, I don't have the patience to wait for elevators and escalators don't move quickly enough. Found this on Facebook and thought is was just about the coolest thing ever. Unless you have a migraine.
Irish Car Bomb, Adult recipe
Sitting here with my left leg elevated, contemplating how much I hate snow, I decided to see what else pops up when you google "Irish Car Bomb". As soon as I'm able to limp out to the momvan, I'll be heading out for the ingredients. Have the Jameson and Bailey's, just need the Guinness. Slainte!
Ingredients:
.5 ounce of Jameson's Irish Whiskey
.5 ounce of Bailey's Irish Cream
half pint of Guinness Stout
Layer the liquor, Jameson's first, in a shot glass.
Pour the Guinness and let it settle.
Drop the shot glass in the Guinness and chug.
Repeat as necessary.

Finally, a smart blonde joke
A blonde walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the Loan officer. She says she's going to Europe on business for two weeks andNeeds to borrow $5,000.
The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde hands over the keys to a new Mercedes Benz SL 500.
The car is parked on the street in front of the bank, she has the title and everything checks out. The bank agrees to accept the car collateral for the loan.
The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the blond for using a $110,000 Benz as collateral against a $5,000 loan.
An employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Benz into the bank's underground garage and parks it there. Two weeks later, the blonde returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.
The loan officer says, "Miss, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire.
What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?"
The blonde replies, "Where else in New York City can I park my Car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?"
I f***ing hate winter
Got up this morning to a balmy 2 with a -24 wind chill factor. Yea. And before you Northerners start in with your disgustingly low temps that go on for months, understand that it's harder to go from a week of 50s into a few days of single digits. You get lulled into a false sense of security and end up losing your gloves in between Arctic fronts.
So posting has been light due to intermittent loss of electricity and wifi. Sometimes singularly, sometimes in tandem. I promise once things thaw out I'll get back on the horse. In the meantime, here's a joke.

Oh my, nighty night!
Sleep tight, don't let the .gov monkeys bite.
Sweet dreams.
Think I found Poppy's next shop project.

More of that protectin' and servin', y'all
Love the squad of SWAT pussies needed to serve a warrant for credit card theft. And the way they vandalize the security cameras to hide their thuggery. But at least the dog escaped with its life. Take your BP meds and go watch the video. Pretty cool blog, too.

Because, war on women or something
Dear God in Heaven, just when the harpies from California are nearing death (Feinstein, Pelosi), enter the next generation of batshit crazy, liberal, holier than thou candidates for Congress. Sandra Fluke, rhymes with F.... duck, has filed to run for the spot vacated by pigboy Waxman. Fresh blood, new old ideas, reenergized whiner and professional victim in the conservative war on women, Fluke is probably a shoe-in. And since Pelosi and Feinstein have both denied any plans of "retiring" (let's face it, they'll die in office), they'll have plenty of time to mold her into a worthy heir to their twisted panties of protest.

Thanks (?!) to jesse in dc for the link.
Feeling better about my weird ass family
These are some of the most cringe-worthy family portraits I've come across in my online meanderings. Enjoy.
Gotta be California, again.
copyright wirecutter
Okay, either there is a "man" in a pink leotard buried under there,
or it's a lesbian couple and their surrogate with the baby on top.
Either way, the vaginal/vulval imagery is frightening...
What the hell, dad?!
There is so much disturbance with this one,
but mostly bikini dude on the left,
fuzzy slipper chick on the right
and mom and dad in the middle.

The New Ronco Pecker Pocket
I would have titled it California...again, but that's trademarked and I don't want to get into a big battle with wirecutter over copyright infringements. But you get the picture....
