I missed my calling

Many moons ago, I was a pre-law student.
I'd proven my elocution and debate skills,
and I was ready to take on the world.
And then I met Kerry Trent.
Who was a DJ on the campus radio station.
And I graduated Magna Cum Laude with the
second most worthless Fine Arts degree
next to Dance.

I have a BS in Radio/TV/Film production (our department head was a Pakistani who's claim to fame was porn production in his native country), and an MA in Mass Comm/Public Relations.

OMG - I think I just lost some respect for you.... thats too close to my nemesis; it makes me twitch.

My 1st wife (I call the practice wife) had a BA in physcology, then found out you needed a PHD to be allowed to twist young minds. Then she got a BA in CTSR - Cinema, Television, Stage and Radio Arts. Then she picked up a Communications / Public Relations diploma and then after she was someone elses problem she took a 3 month certification in survey.

Well, it's a good thing for us, the direction you took. Because the only thing worse than a pissed-off ginger is a pissed-off ginger with a law degree. Ask me how I know this thing.

I'll be in my corner, whimpering and cuddling my blanky.

This ad is in San Antonio, like me. This woman does not have the greatest reputation, and the ad (while a bit humorous) doesn't speak to her abilities, only to her bitchiness. So, its a good talking point, but that's about it.

Just my $0.02.

My cousin graduated from Baylor with a Music degree. She later went back to gain a degree in accounting. But music is her passion and she has been in various orchestras in the Houston / Louisiana area.

Hey, you got a degree - that holds open some doors that non degreed persons like myself wouldn't even rate a snort of derision - round file that like a laser ! :^)

Angel, that BS sounds like #2 son's degree. Now he has his own business building and renting photo booths. But he married a lawyer...

How close to home. I tried to go to college a couple of times while married to my first, but she was too emotionally unstable for me to leave her to raise my kids without me doing most of the work.
When they got a little older, she miraculously became fine, sent me packing, remarried and let me pay child support to the tune of 150,000$, which let her go and get a BA and MA in social work or something.
I am not bitter, even though I used to worship the ground she slithered on. I eventually remarried and have been with a good, solid, stable woman for almost 24 years.
My divorce was handled by a woman lawyer. I was young and dumb, still cared about my exLater, took my decree to a different lawyer, for his opinion. He quickly read it and said 2 things.
First, he called upon God's Son,then said I had experienced anal sex from the wrong perspective. Secondly, he said there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it.
So, I do not have a warm place in my heart for female lawyers in general, and that one in particular. Although I can think of a very hot place for her.
I feel bad that my child support ended before my ex could go after her PhD.

I didn't have kids with the first and we agreed that she wouldn't ask for alimony or any future earnings if I agreed to sign the divorce as irreconciliable differences vs. The truth of her being a cheating tramp.

Of course offering to send the pics her and her boyfriend had taken to her aunt the nun and her parents may have had something to do with her offer being reasonible.
