The problem with pulling out is it doesn't always work. Just ask Obama's dad how well pulling out worked.

You will know if it was the right time to pull out, nine months later

That's what the map would look like if Oklahoma didn't suck.

@rickn8or - link worked fine - loved it :)

The minute it looks like a reality of Texas leaving the, now defunct, union, I'ma packing and movin to it.

The PROBLEM is, with how VERY left large cities like austin and houston are, there would need to be an epic 'get out the vote' campaign in order to reach citizens in the prairie/desert parts and then arranging transport for them if needed. Otherwise, the population centers will control the vote. Like usual.

And don't believe the tripe out there that says it's not possible or illegal. There has been a constant din about how secession is not possible, or popular, but that, it not true and the anti's hinge this on a vote by scotus in 1869.

convenient they cite the scotus when it favors their view point and how they want to burn it down when the judges don't agree with them, huh?

This is the "best" economic discussion I could find this morning on what TX would look like after splitting.

If we Texans leave do we get to take back the land that we started with?

Half of New Mexico, and parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming.
