Absolutely true

I have borrowed several books from the Wirecutter Library of Really Cool Shit, and you would not believe the things that man uses as bookmarks. I've found a money order receipt for Grateful Dead tickets, grocery receipts, gas receipts, pictures and his motorcycle learner's permit from when he was 18. It's like a sociologist's dream. (Or an archeologist's, just sayin'.)

HA!

I was at camp this weekend and was using a twig.
Appropriate because the book I was reading was about an
organic gardening family and their attempts to be self sufficient.

I prefer to use a square of tp. It's thin enough that it doesn't leave a mark in the book.

I use cash. Mostly 100 dollar bills. I've left instructions for the family not to get rid of any books until leafing through them for cash.

Before I bought my Kindle, I's ALWAYS have a book with me. Usuaslly, on my lunch hour, the the straw wrapper became the book mark.

I usually use business cards. But I'm going to copy Anonymous' instructions for my kids...

I grab anything that's handy. If I can't find something important, I just go back to the pile o' books by my Camouflaged Bass Pro Easy Chair.
