My stand on marijuana

Beats the hell out of FDA approved pharmaceuticals with a side-effects list longer than your arm. Legalize it and be done with it. And for the love of God, stop incarcerating people for it's use. C'mon, we've got bigger fish to fry.

The only reason the federal government won't legalize marijuana is because they haven't figured out a way to control it or tax it with so much coming across our borders.

dathruth - actually, what's coming across the border is just a drop in the bucket compared to what's grown here in the US. It's easier for the cartels to grow it here rather than risk a border run.
It used to be that you'd find a small patch out in the woods with evidence that it was being tended to by an American. Now they're stumbling across 1000+ plant plantations with tortillas and chorizo in the camps.
You do NOT hike in remote places in California without a firearm.

Above all, we need to keep it out of the hands of kids. It has a detrimental effect on developing brains. The only part the feral government should play is taxing importation.

We can't even keep prescription drugs out of kids' hands. Not only that, but we prescribe drugs that have as many, if not more, harmful side effects. That all goes back to parenting.
