I once saw a TV program concerning a South African family that rescued orphaned lion cubs and raised them with their Dachshunds. One of the Wiener Dogs decided to live up to his nickname and kept trying to mount one of the now adolescent lionesses. She just swept him off with her tail, and eventually walked away after several failed attempts to steal her virtue.
The whole time I kept imagining the potential (and impossibly improbable) results of such an unholy union: either a Wiener Lion with with a stretched out body and stumpy legs, or the Dachshund King with a huge mane and load roar.
