Again, placing preference for illegal aliens over LEGAL aliens or actual citizens, UC Berkeley takes up Obama's Dream Act. The university, one of the most expensive in the UC system, received a private donation from the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund. The $1 million boon is earmarked specifically for scholarships for illegal aliens. Specifically. No one else can apply.
While federal law prevents illegal aliens from receiving any government assistance including Pell grants and student loans, the 2011 California Dream Act makes it legal for them to receive privately funded scholarships and state-sponsored financial aid. Like California taxpayers can afford the expense of funding college for it's massive illegal alien population.
Now what, you're probably asking, does this have to do with Wrangler Jeans? The Haas family fortune stems from the vast 1% corporate greed of Levi Strauss & Co. Don't know about the rest of you, but it's Wranglers from now on.

I never buy Levi's anymore. Too expensive. And I am a tightwad.
While your on the topic of jeans... here's a source of some locally grown and made jeans.

"Our denim jeans are an American icon that can be worn with pride. Each jean is handcrafted right here in the USA with USA made materials. In fact, You can trace our All American Brand jeans all the way back to the farmers who grew the cotton used in your jean!"
Cool! Thanks for the link!
Amen, Wrangler make good jeans too...

Glenn Beck's 1791 Clothing company makes great jeans but they're a bit pricey. The Levis are $40 at JCPenney; the Wranglers are less than $20 at Target.
Fuck the Haas family and all their friends.
I haven't bought a pair of Levi's in over 30 years. Wranglers are less expensive, just as high quality and IMO more comfortable.
IMHO as a Texas Girl, I just like the way men look in Wranglers. Yum.
Note to self: buy wrangler jeans..extra tight..strut around Texas for awhile...
A man in Wranglers! Ummmmm yummy :)
whoo-hoo! When and where... ;-)
I wear Wranglers because they're made in Mexico. I'll do anything to keep the homies home.
Female Wrangler butts drive me nuts!

I don't buy wrangler anymore simply because out of the past 3 pairs I've gotten 2 of them had the back pockets start tearif away after pretty much a year. These were the "cowboy cut" ones they say can take abuse. I basically work an office job, it shouldn't have happened. Artiat and Cinch have lasted me much longer
