Let me just say up front I am NOT a fan of having a police officer in each school. They (Libtards) talk about the trauma a young child would endure seeing a teacher packing heat, how is seeing an armed police officer any different? And with the militarization of many police forces, especially in larger cities, how hard would it be to find an officer with the right mindset? And why would you spend $5 billion to pay cops to guard schools when simply allowing responsible gun owners to exercise their rights cost NOTHING? Zip. Nada. You don't have to pay them, pay for their weapons, ammo, training. It's their right and responsibility. Just get out of their way.

I am also against police in schools. Ban gun free zones. Not guns.
Unfortunately the progressive by its very nature is against anything that works or saves money.
The heart of it is cowardice. Your basic Lefty is too cowardly for personal action/responsibility. That's why they're so comfortable with handing freedom to the government.
