Also:
Kids could run a lemonade stand without permission from the HOA and three permits from the city.

If the cops wanted to talk to you, they would go to your door and actually knock.

In 1975, you could still cling to the illusion that social security would be there when you retired.

This almost made me cry.

'Course, I remember kids going outside to play on weekends or during the summer, and not coming back in until they were hungry or the sun went down.
