Ladd Everitt, a spokesman for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, said Pew’s findings reflect a sharp partisan divide on the issue, but also said the wording of the survey might have influenced the results. The survey asked whether it was more important to “control gun ownership” or “protect the right of Americans to own guns.”
“The notion of having ‘rights’ is certainly going to be more appealing than the notion of being ‘controlled,’ no matter what topic you are asking respondents about,” he said in an email. “We’d be curious to see how the polling would look if Pew Research asked respondents if they believed they had ‘a right to be free from gun violence in their communities through the enactment of sensible gun legislation.’”

The only "sensible" legislation asshats like Ladd and company want is the total disarmament of everyone except the police and military. Before the name change, they were the Coalition to ban handguns. Then, after the asshat at the VPC decided to start calling anything that looked military "assault" weapons to misdirect the public, they changed their name. Just like the Brady bunch changed their name from Handgun Control Inc.
These sons of bitches scream about "gun control", yet not a one of them has the balls to come to my house and take my guns. I gave my address to one of the gun haters that lives close by. I'm still waiting for that turd to show up.
When the fun starts, I hope every one of these liberal idiot pisswit assholes is on someones list. I have my list, I'm just waiting for the festivities to begin.
Liberals tell everyone that Conservatives hate the gays, the women, the blacks, the hispanics, the minorities.
But think about it like this.
Liberals have been "helping" those demographics since the 1960s. If any of that "help" was actually worth anything, those groups would be on their own two feet by now and wouldn't need the government's help anymore.
But they still do.
Why? Because so long as minorities think they need the government's help, they will continue to vote for the party that promises to help them. All the Liberals need to do is ensure that minorities are never able to stand on their own two feet and never smart enough to realize who's responsible for keeping them oppressed.
If the hispanics, blacks, and women of the US ever collectively realized just how bad Liberals are for their welfare, there would never be another Demcorat elected again.
