Prayers

For any and all readers in the tornado zone from last night, know you have all of our thoughts and prayers. If /when you can, please check in and let us know you're okay. We're worried.

Things are going to be light here until later this evening.

Hugs always,

Angel

Arlington came through with no major issues. Cleburne was hit hard and Granbury suffered 6 fatalities and hundreds injured.

We heard the sirens going off, got the grandkids and sat in the walk in closet for 45 minutes. My son saw rotation above him at I-20/Green Oaks but it never touched down in Arlington.

Hope all is well at your place.

Ditto! We only got heavy rain last evening here in my neck of the woods, but not too far down the road, is a different story. Two counties west and then south of us had hail and tornadoes.

I am so glad to hear from both of you!

There are still a few unaccounted for, if y'all hear from anyone else, please let us know.

I'm a Cleburne Officer and while we were hit hard, the community hit back even harder. The war zone of initial destruction has been drastically cleared. We have estimated 600 homes damaged (including. My own-minor) and about 20-30 destroyed. The outpouring of can do attitude and volunteerism is awesome. Last nite, I had a Mennonite Disaster team from Mississippi just show up. It is awesome to see.
And to top it all off to my eternal gratitude- not a single mention or even sighting of FEMA!
GOD is good!
