Takes skills to make joints like that...And a decent tool selection. And skills. Crap. I would have to live to be a hundred and ten to have the time to get that good.

I have a friend who is Japanese. Her dad before he passed on used to Japaneese joinery woodworking. All done with hand tools and very complex joints.

Wow - sexy wood craftsmanship there. wow.
The pic shows something that is not perfect, that joint is at least a skinny 1/8th off, but is very attractive to look at.
May use this to put something together for the patio...
